Educational Qualifications
- Must have passed three main subjects at one and the same sitting at the G.E.C. (Advanced Level) Examination
. - Must have passed six subjects at the G.E.C. (Ordinary Level) Examination in not more than two sittings, which must include a credit pass in Sinhala/Tamil language and Mathematics, and at least an ordinary pass in English

Age Limit
- Must be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 24 years of age as of the closing date of applications (October 12, 2026)
. - Specifically, the applicant's date of birth must fall on or before October 12, 2008, and on or after October 12, 2002

How to Apply
- Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online portal at the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka website (www.doenets.lk) under "Our Services" > "Online Applications (Recruitments/E.B. Exams)"
. - Online applications will be accepted starting from September 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM until October 12, 2026, at 9:00 PM
. - The examination fee is Rs. 600.00, payable via credit card, debit card with online payment facility, Bank of Ceylon online banking/Flex app, or slip payment at any Bank of Ceylon branch
. - Government or provincial public service applicants must submit a copy of the application to their head of department for their records, and will be required to produce a certified copy along with a service confirmation letter if called for the interview
